Milking Technology....

The high quality GM milking technology is an integral part of
the GM Liberty Zenith Automatic Milking System; like the pulsation and stimulation
equipment, the
Lectron 312,
the Lectronic milk flow controlled stimulation and individual pulsation. If the
milk flow does not start, the Lectronic increases the number of pulsations. GM
has also developed its own specific liners which avoid teat damage by regulating
the air supply to the vacuum chamber in the liner head.

Each box is provided with its own milking installation.
There is a
receiver assembly
and milk pump in each box. Each
installation is equipped with two milk lines; one for discharging the milk to
the tank, the second to discharge milk that is to be separated. The boxes can be
cleaned separately. The GM milking technology also includes conductivity
measurement per quarter (all automatically recorded for you to see), which is an
important management tool for mastitis detection and at the same time a good
indication of milk quality and udder health.
The famous
GM
MR2000 automatic milk meters have a high capacity and are used on thousands
of farms throughout the world. Naturally they are ICAR and NMR approved.
Stainless steel is used for milk pipe lines, other tubing is made from food
grade high quality silicone or E.P.D.M rubber.
Milk recording is now just a matter of a daily print out of yields
for the herd, and the Milk Recorder only has to add the samples together from
the recording boxes.
