Milk-Rite's range of products is based
on many years of experience of making rubber ware for the dairy
industry. Only top quality raw materials are used, and all of
these are fully traceable. The range is comprehensive and
includes a broad spectrum of liners and tubing, designed to fit
most milking parlours.
As reported at
RubberNews.com, Avon’s dairy division, although doing well
in the U.S. and still considered one of the company’s core
operations, is going through major changes, including the
relocation of its European rubber products manufacturing unit to
the Czech Republic from its plant in Wiltshire. The move is
expected to be complete in the first half of 2010.
The firm is turning production over to a subcontractor because
it said the cost of manufacturing in England is too high and the
United Kingdom segment has not performed as well as its
counterpart has in the U.S. Outsourcing will help get the unit’s
cost base on the right path, CEO Peter Slabbert said. |

LINERS |

The Ultraliner range features over 25
different liners to fit most makes and types of dairy shell.
Also available as part of this range is the New Ultraliner tlc,
a triangular liner designed for less slip and improved cow
comfort and teat-end health. All Ultraliner tlc liners are made
from BGVV compliant rubber, which contains fewer compounds that
can enter the milk. Liner prices advertised are the recommended retail price,
as Milk-Rite now insist discounting should be stopped.

COIL TUBING |

The Milk-Rite range of coiled tubing
offers a number of choices to the dairy producer. The unique
Ultraclean milk tube has a Thermoplastic Vulcanizate (TPV) inner
and black outer. This tube has the durability and flexibility of
black rubber tubing, with the hygienic properties of silicone.
Coiled tubing is also available in
BGVV compliant rubber, silicone and standard rubber.

Milk-Rite makes a wide range of dairy
tubing. This includes a range of short milk tubes, designed to
fit short, two piece liners.
