terms and conditions
Mikingmachines.co.uk's milking
machine spares, excluding rubber, silicone goods and
liners/inflations are guaranteed for one year against
defects in materials and workmanship. Rubber and silicone goods
are guaranteed for 3 months, and liners/inflations are
guaranteed for 3 months or 400 milkings, which ever is sooner.
Water heater elements are guaranteed against faulty materials and
workmanship for 6 months, provided they are only used to heat
water. Milkingmachines.co.uk will at its option, repair, replace or
refund the purchase price on items which prove to be defective in
materials or workmanship during the warranty period. Labour,
carriage and service charges are not included. This warranty
extends to the original purchaser and may not be transferred.
Improper installation, accidental damage or abuse of parts
voids guarantee.
Value Added Tax
(VAT) - As milkingmachines.co.uk is a
Business to Business seller (B2B) prices shown do not include
VAT which will be added at the checkout at the current
prevailing rate.
Minimum Order Value -
There is a minimum order value of £50.00 excluding vat and carriage.
Failed delivery
of goods - Delivery of goods will be attempted twice. If you
do not contact the delivery company after the second failed
attempt your parcel may be returned by the delivery company and
you may incur an additional carriage cost to re-deliver.
Shortages and non supply - Please check your delivery note and invoice for goods supplied.
If there are any shortages or discrepancies, please let us know
within 24 hours of receipt of your delivery. Claims for
shortages received after this time can not be entertained.
Non-Delivery
- You will be sent an email advising you when your goods have
been dispatched. Please allow three working days for your goods
to arrive. If after seven working days your goods have not
arrived, please notify us immediately by email or fax to allow
us to investigate. Claims for non-delivery after this time can
not be entertained.
Transport damage - Upon
arrival of any consignment, care must be taken to ensure that the boxes
delivered are complete and in good condition. Any visible damage
or missing boxes should be noted on the courier's delivery note.
With larger goods such as portable milking machines and water heaters, it is advisable to mark the courier's
delivery note:- 'Goods unexamined'.
If your goods show obvious signs of damage it is recommended
that you don't accept the delivery. Claims will be rejected if
you have signed the carriers delivery note accepting the goods
in good condition and later find damage. Failure to adhere to
any of these points will result in rejection of any claim. Any
missing boxes or damaged goods should be reported to Milkingmachines.co.uk within
24 hours by email or fax.
Return of faulty goods - If
any of our products fail within the guarantee period,
milkingmachines.co.uk will at its option repair, replace or refund
the purchase price on items which prove to be defective in
materials or workmanship. To return faulty goods, please email
returns@milkingmachines.co.uk to obtain a returns authorization
number, warranty form and address label, which we will send out
to you by email within 48 hours. On receipt of your warranty claim form, please return the item in it's
original packaging with all accessories. The parcel is your
responsibility until we receive it, so we recommend you package it
well, and use a recorded and insured delivery service. Faulty
goods must be returned with 14 days of receiving the returns
authorization. You will be sent an
email to let you know we have received your returns, and another
to let you know when your claim has been processed.
Please note that
faulty goods returns can not be accepted and will not be
processed unless the above procedure is followed.
Return of incorrectly supplied
goods - If you wish to return any of our products which you
have received due to an error on our part, please advise us
within 24 hours of receipt of these goods, please email
returns@milkingmachines.co.uk to obtain a returns
authorization number, returns form and address label, which we
will send out to you by email within 48 hours. We will refund the cost of
returning the goods to us. The parcel is your responsibility until
we receive it, so we recommend you package it well, and use a
recorded delivery service. You will be sent an email to let you
know we have received your returns, and another to let you know
when your claim has been processed.
Please note that
incorrectly supplied goods returns can not be accepted and will
not be processed unless the above procedure is followed.
Return of incorrectly ordered
goods - If you wish to return any of our products which you
have received due to an error on your part, please advise us
within 24 hours of receipt of these goods, please email

to obtain a returns authorization number, returns form and

hours. These goods must be un-opened, un-used and in original

administration charge. You will be responsible for the
cost of returning the goods to us. The parcel is your

the returned goods within 7 days from the date the returns form
is emailed to you.
For reasons of hygiene we are unable to accept returns of any
milk filtration products, milking liners, milking clusters, rubber and silicone
tubing and fittings, calf and lamb feeding equipment, parlour
wash down spares and systems or portable milking
machines.
Please note that
incorrectly ordered goods returns can not be accepted and will
not be processed unless the above procedure is followed.

advise us within 24 hours of receipt of these goods, please

Return of
contaminated goods -
To prevent the risk of cross contamination, any items that are
returned with any contamination whatsoever will be disposed of
and no refund will be made.
Shipping Details -
We are unable to deliver to flats, apartments, PO Boxes or holding
addresses. You will be sent an email to let you
know we are unable to process your order in this case.
Milkingmachines.co.uk's returns
policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Delivery - We will deliver
your goods within 30 days unless you have agreed to a longer time.
If we cannot deliver the goods within this time we will
immediately tell you by telephone, fax or email and agree on
another time for delivery. If you cannot agree on another delivery
time, you will be offered a refund for any money received. If
items are in stock we will usually deliver within seven working
days of accepting your order.
Receipts - We will provide
you with a VAT invoice for your purchase, which
will be sent separately from your order by email.
Mistakes in bills, receipts or
payments - We will correct any mistakes in bills, receipts or
payments as soon as possible, and at the latest within 30 days of
agreeing to do so.
Complaints - If you wish to
complain about any aspect of our service then please email us in
the first instance at
sales@milkingmachines.co.uk explaining the nature of your
complaint. We will respond within 5 working days giving you either
a solution or a reasonable timescale for resolving the dispute. It
is our intention to resolve disputes fairly, confidentially,
effectively and speedily.
Disclaimer -
Milkingmachines.co.uk takes absolutely no responsibility for any
malfunction in your milking equipment or any liability to
livestock, milking operatives, or any consequential losses.
